What is live resin?

Live resin is a type of cannabis concentrate created to preserve the unique taste and aroma of fresh marijuana plants. Concentrates are considered “live” because they are obtained directly from fresh frozen cannabis. This is different from hardened resin, which is made from dried herbs.

To begin the process, cannabis is flash-frozen or “fresh-frozen” at subcritical temperatures using dry ice or a cryogenic freezer.
